Dancing with Death

Dancing with Death is an self made webcomic, structured as a comic strip but collectively can be read as a full story.

The story is a romantic comedy featuring Lucky Noir: a cat with nine lives, and Grimms: the Grimmreaper. As the comic progresses you see the themes of loss, grief and depression start to become more prominent.

Making Dancing with Death has been a good way for me to explore these topics, and I hope it can help anyone else with similar experiences.

Shadow Slayer

Shadow Slayer is a work in progress Graphic Novel I'm making, about two characters who hunt monsters for a living. Main character Arun is a workaholic, who is determined to always be pushing himself to the point it negatively effects his relationships and health.

The conflict thickens when its discovered that the monsters they are hunting are people who like Arun, pushed themselves to hard and corrupted themselves in process.

My goal with this book was to have a self contained and condensed story that felt achievable to make, and so far has been a fun project for me to work on.

Reincarnate

Reincarnate was a 10 page short comic for an anthology book, made for my Comics and Graphic novels class in third year Animation.

Its about a young boy who's supposedly the reincarnation of King Arthur, but has none of his memories. He has expectations placed onto him about who he is or what he should be, but is reassured my Merlin that he is still his own person.

After the class was completed, me and my some of my peers collected our comics into an Anthology book '7 Artists 7 Stories', which I put together in InDesign and sent off to print, making it our first self published book which we sell at stalls and conventions.

The Legacy of Heroes

The Legacy of Heroes was an entry for a Webtoon fight scene competition. While it didn't win it is a story and comic that I'm proud of, as I did my best to utilise the vertical scrolling format.

The story tries to emulate a Fairy Tale format, opening with a "Once upon a time..." to give context for the ffight scene ahead. It is an excerpt of a much larger story, and one that I would like to return to as an Anthology which explores different time periods and aspects of the world at large.

To get the best experience viewing the comic, I recommend reading it on Webtoon. Click the button bellow to check it out properly.
