Astray - Composition
Astray was the main film I worked on in my forth year of Animation. I was the lead compositing artist for the team, and developed the final look of the film, as well as creating guides to help other members who didn't specialise in compositing how to recreate the look I developed. This helped the team immensely and I thoroughly enjoyed my role.
Hero's Spirit - Composition
Hero's Spirit was a film in my forth year of Animation that my friend was the showrunner of. I initially wasn't involved in the project, but due to production issues threatening the film to fall through I joined to help it over the finish line. I am now very happy I did as I learned a lot about compositing from it, and was even something I was able to apply backwards to my main film Astray. I'm very proud of what I was able to achieve with it.
TV-Dinner: Doctor Chew - Composition
TV-Dinner was another forth year film in my Animation course, which was comprised of several short food themed TV gags. One of my pitches was a Doctor Who parody, and while I wasn't involved during the development phase, I did come back at the end to help put it together and create the final look of the film. I am very happy with the final look I was able to achieve, bringing in the skills I had learned from both Astray and Hero's Spirit to bring out the full potential of the assets I was provided.
Wishing Star - Composition
Wishing Star is a self-led project which I pitched as a forth year Animation film, which sadly wasn't picked up. I did my best to keep it going however, and decided due to the limited size of people interested and lack of animators involved, that it might be best to try complete the film using my skills in After Effects. I ended up developing my skills making 2D rigs and puppet Animation, and was able to create a final look I'm proud of.
